Casement Windows Make for a Great View
Casement windows are great when you have limited space. A casement window opens differently than a single or double-hung window in that it uses a crank to open on a hinge. The single glass panel opens outward for an expansive view and great ventilation in any room. Many people choose casement windows over their kitchen sink and built ins.
Available in Coordinating Colors and Styles
If you’re planning a whole home window replacement and want to change out a few of your old windows for casement windows, you can choose from the same colors and styles as our other replacement window options. Renewal by Andersen‘s interior colors include White, Canvas, Sandtone, Terratone and Dark Bronze while the exterior can be any of those colors plus Cocoa Bean, Forest Green, Red Rock and Black. We also have pine, maple and oak for a natural wood look finish for your interior. Your Renewal by Andersen representative can share the color options when they provide their in-home consultation.
Because the casement windows have multiple locking points you’ll want to choose just the right hardware option. We offer three standard colors plus eight exclusive finishes in our Estate™ collection. One option many homeowners love in our casement windows are the TruScene® insect screens which provide 50% better clarity than standard screens.
Energy Efficiency and a Weathertight Seal
Whether you choose our High Performance™ Low-E4® glass or our High Performance™ Low-E4® SmartSun™ glass you’ll have windows that are 45% more energy-efficient in the winter than single pane windows and up to 70% more energy-efficient in the summer. Our windows also block more than 80% of harmful UV rays that fade furniture, artwork, carpets and drapes.
Because casement windows have fewer parts than single or double-hung windows, they provide a more weathertight seal. This adds to their energy efficiency. Casement windows in pairs or alone help funnel the great breeze we have into your home helping maximize ventilation and airflow which may allow you to keep your air conditioning off longer saving you even more.

We’ll go over each of those windows options and help you choose the perfect new windows for your home. Call 615-238-9463 today or fill out our contact form.
The Renewal by Andersen replacement window color palette is specially selected to match or complement the colors of your home. You can choose the same color for both the interior and exterior, or select any exterior color with a stainable wood, white or canvas interior.
